Keepsakes

Created by Fool's Moon Entertainment, Inc.

Keepsakes are a collection of lost and discarded toys who have come to life, becoming Widdershin, who gain a magical key weapon and stand guard against all the things that go bump in the night.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

FUNDED!
about 1 year ago – Thu, Jan 30, 2025 at 03:12:28 AM

Thanks to all you lovely folks, we are now funded!
This means that the patchwork horse and steggo are both available!

In addition to these two, we have a longtime fan who has pledged for the custom tier, so we will be working with them on a design for their beloved fox plush, Socks. So come pledge manager, you will also have Socks as an option you can choose! We will share the design as it gets worked on. ✨️

Now we look towards our stretch goals! Our first stretch is a big one, but it will unlock two additional designs: the bunny and czlassic wind-up robot, below.

We asked it before launch and had some lovely answers, so we'll ask it again! Is there a childhood toy you were especially fond of? What was it? Do you still have it? Let us know below!

Love from the team at Fool's Moon! ✨️

Nostalgia

We all had that one toy. The special one. The one that got played with till it was ragged and worn. The one that traveled with us, slept with us, lived and breathed with us.

For me, it was a burgundy plush pterodactyl, slightly smaller than the average teddy bear. He didn't have a name for a long time; then I started callin  him Petrie, after the one in Land Before Time. If it weren't for our housefire in January of 1992, I'd still have him. The day after the fire, my uncle Mitch gave me a brown plushie rabbit over 2 feet large and very squishy. I named him Anthony Mitchell. He needs some of his seams restitched, but he is otherwise still going strong, and is still with me to this day, the thing I've owned the longest (nothing survived the fire except some smoke damaged photo albums).

How about you? What was your favourite toy in childhood? Do you still have it? Tell us about it in the comments!
